No Foolin'

Thursday, April First is International Tatting Day. To honor this day, I would like to offer tatting supplies. The drawing will be held on April 1st and anyone who tats is welcome to enter! The threads are Lizbeth size 20 in Springtime and Spring Green. This will come with some hand cream that is safe to use for needle-workers, a set of clover shuttles in Spring colors, and of course, some delicious dark chocolate. Dark chocolate has anti-oxidants which is good for you. Not to mention that dark chocolate is delicious =) I will have my husband pick a winner when he gets home from class on Thursday evening and I will post the name along with whatever I tat that day. When you leave your comment to enter, please tell me what you plan to tat that day. Do you have a special project planned yet? This is my first time to celebrate this holiday so I am curious to know how you plan to celebrate it. Good luck to all who enter, and feel free to share the info for the give-away with other tatters if you like =)

Have a great day!

I don't need any more tatting supplies, but I'm a sucker for a drawing that includes dark chocolate! Please count me in!

As for what I'll tat that day... hmm... I'll be at school, but we will have early dismissal before our spring break. If I'm finished with my Primrose Path doily, I think I'll tat a bookmark for my friend Nancy who just came home from the hospital.

Oh YES, Please do count me in!
I'd love to have my hand on the Lizbeth, having heard about them so much, but never got to tat that!
And the chocolate sounds yummy too.

As for what I'm going to tat that day....I'm still on the Tatting Day doily I'm trying to finish by then, most probably I'll still be tatting that as I see no sign of it getting near the finish.

Thanks for informing me of the giveaway.
Luv,
Vinnie

Wow I didnt know that Thursday was a Tatters Holiday. I like to read everyone's blog from the 25 motif challenge. I have been saving tatting patterns and I am thinking that I may try the Hearts Desire it looks challenging but I do like it. I may also tat a motif from my one book Festive tatting. I hope I win. This maybe the inspiration I need.

Oh, oh, oh, PLEASE enter my name. I bought some of that hand cream when I was in the USA some years ago from Wally world. I LOVED it. Also a sucker for threads too!!!!
On THE day I'll probably still be working on an assignment for a London fashion designer - 3 lengths of 'random' tatting in a size 80!!! Keeps me out of mischief, though!!!!

April 1st hey?? Hmm day off - had a stuffed wrist this last couple of weeks so have been putting some of the designs in my head onto paper - finally...
I think I will attempt to bring one of them to life. Something new to honour the new year of tatting and maybe bring some of my incentive to tat back.

Wow, what a special giveaway! I have never heard about the "special hand cream", so I am especially interested in it. (Where can one find it?) And the chocolate makes it even more of a "must have". Springtime by Lizbeth is one of my favorite threads, too. So please enter me in the drawing. Happy Tatting Day to one and all!

I would so love to be in the draw! But only if you are willing to post to Argentina, if not I can understand.

April 1st I'll probably be making some tries for a wedding gift for my cousin - coasters - I have yet to find the perfect pattern, but once I do, I'll be starting that!

My favorite shade of Lizbeth! My favorite shuttls! You are a temptress! I will be tatting on my future granddaughter's bonnet...this is such a slow-going project!

please count my name in the drawing!

I'm not sure what I'm going to be tatting, but since I'm working my way out of snowflakes, I'm thinking a small doily?

Please count me in on your super nice giveaway!

I'm a bit of a flibbertygibbit and am not sure what I will be tatting. In my head I am planning a Celtic butterfly, a motif for a doll nightgown, and a cross. Between now and then I will probably have other ideas, so I may just surprise myself!

I would love to enter your give away. I think one of the things I will do on Tatting DAy is to decorate a tatting shuttle. I haven't done that in awhile. Not sure if I am going to paint one yet or what. I have a hat that I have been working on from Jan Stwatz ( yup I just missed spelled his name) and I have been making tatting bookmarks. Anyhow...I would love to win. Thanks so much for having the fun of inticipation for us in Tattingland.

I'd love to be entered in the April 1st tatters day drawing. I have no size 20 thread and my eyes are really complaining at my working with this size 80 stuff.

Feel free to contact me Vinnie. This is Beverly from BellaOnline Tatting.

What a nice lot of things to give away! Please drop my name in the hat. I'm going to be working on a doily by Iris Niebach for International Tatting Day. I figure by Thursday I will have picked out all the wrong bits I've done and be ready to pay better attention!

I'd love to be included in your generous drawing!

I haven't even picked up a shuttle for nearly a week now, so on Tatting Day I'm going to put on some music, make sure my tea is within reach, get comfy and TAT. I'm working on a doily from an old Coats and Clark book (dated 1939) and I want to get that last round finished up.

Have you entered my giveaway? It's not too late! Oh, and if you prefer not to type your email address in a comment field, then please email me privately -- the email is listed on my tatting blog -- ambitatterous dot blogspot dot com.

As for what I will be tatting on Thursday -- I have dedicated my time to tat a lovely heart designed by the late Myrtle Hamilton. There is a photo of the heart on my blog, if you would like to see.

Enjoy your first International Tatting Day and welcome to the fold!
