Spooky Drawing & Another Giveaway!

I put all the names into my cauldron and Lyn W is the lucky winner. Lyn, please go to my profile and send me an email with your address so I can get your prize into the mail when I get back from the retreat!!!

Do you like things with beady eyes? Well, then this next drawing is for you! I have the two Mill Hill kits shown above to give away. The drawing will be Thursday night during the witching hour, and will be posted on Friday. Be sure to leave me a post and this time I would like to know why you love or hate to stitch on Aida cloth. I just started stitching a spooky project on Aida and am really enjoying it! I feel like I am getting back to my stitching roots. I think we must have all started our stitching adventure with Aida cloth, right?

Okay, I really have to go. My stitching is packed, snacks are packed, clothes - NO! And, I think I do need clothes. Must go throw pants into the dryer and get my car loaded. I am so excited. A fabric order just arrive moments ago from Enchanted Fabrics and they are awesome! I will post photos when I get back Sunday.

Have a great weekend! Don't forget to post a comment to be entered into the drawing =)

Hello there!
Another draw, great! I like aida, because it is easier ti stitch; you don't have to count all the time as you do with evenweave...

Hi! Please add me to your drawing. I like aida because I dont have to count a lot and it is a break from the evenweave.

I rather stitch in evenweave, find it makes me more smoother than aida

Would love to win your drawing as those both are too neat.
Well all the items I have stitched so far have been on aida so cloth wise I have nothing to compare it with. But I do like it. Not sure if I could even use evenweave because of size. I have done plastic canvas stitching for years and one thing I like about aida rather than plastic is that I can use the sew method rather than down with one hand and up with the other.

I would like to be included in your drawing. I enjoy working on Aida, but nothing is better than linen when there are specialty stitches involved.

Congratulations to Lyn W on the last draw win. I would love to be included in the drawing for the Mill Hill kits. I love them , hence my MillHillStitchers group on Yahoo that I own...LOL.

I've stitched on Aida, Evenweave and Linen. Truthfully I didn't care for Linen. It was to hard for me to count over 2 because of the unevenness. I love using Evenweave it the pattern has fractional stitches. They are just so much easier to stitch. If it's just a normal pattern, no fractionals, I still use aida because it just seems much easier.

Hi!!! I love to stitch on aida because I'm too distracted and counting it's easier with the squares neatly marked!

Thanks for the chance!

Both kits are very cute and look like they would be fun to do. I like Aida cloth because the holes are easyer to see and that makes counting and stitching more fun.
